North Dakota Snow...Until You've Lived It You Can't Believe It

Growing up in northwestern North Dakota, my family was extremely fortunate to never experience the flooding the eastern part of the state is going through. My family lives on the banks of Lake Sakakajawea and the lake has been down significantly over the last twenty years. With the amount of snowfall this past year, the lake will finally look like the one I remember from my youth. Although I feel extremely excited about going home with my family this summer to enjoy the lake, my heart goes out to my North Dakota neighbors.

These photos were sent to my father of the snow between a couple small towns nearby and the plowing of the train tracks. Just another day in North Dakota.

Don't forget to check out Field Dress for your hunting and fishing themed t-shirts.

That is so crazy, My sister-in-law lives in Moorehead, MN and they said this year because of all the snow fall and wind some people had to use their second story windows to get out of their houses. I belive they had to shut down I 94 at least twice this year for snow and blowing snow.

Just a light "dusting" for North Dakota.
