Just received these pics of a rescue this past Nov. in South Dakota. Apparently they were spotted from a couple in their car and when they honked to get the bucks attention, noticed it didn't raise its head. Walked up and found them locked and one dead. Buck got excited and pulled the dead one out from under the fence. Failed attempt at prying them apart and finally used a hacksaw. Once he was loose he decided do give the dead one a few parting shots for good measure. Dandy buck to see once he was loose.
