Thanks for relaying the photo's to us here on your blog. That's awesome! Never seen an albino moose.
Wow I've never seen an alblbio moose before. Where were these photos taken?
Thanks for coming by guys. Mel, I don't think many people have seen an albino moose...surely not me. I still can't believe there were two. Ben, I think they were in Wisconsin, but not sure specifically.Field DressThe Wild Side Blog
Thanks for sharing that. I have seen two albino white tail deer in ohio. Never a moose which is my dream hunting trip.
These pics went around the Internet a few years ago
Yes it is true. Before I post, I'll make sure to do a little more due dilegence. In fact the pictures I have seem to be a combination of two separate "albino moose" stories over the last couple of years. Sorry...however, I still didn't see them the first go around, so I don't feel too bad. Thanks anonymous.
I check this out on snops and the story is partly true. The moose are not true albinos but rather white-haired moose. I have to agree with this statment. If you look at the photos the moose dont have all the traits of an albino. The eyes, nose & ears of the moose they dont have the pink or blue iris or deep red pupils, or milky or translucent look.
