Colorado Three-Legged Eight-Point Bull Elk Lives On

Last fall my cousin had a run-in with the monster bull elk of a lifetime. Read the full post of the Three-Legged Eight-Point Bull Elk. He worked hard the rest of the bow season to catch the bull on film by setting up a bow cam and shot this video of a nice six-point bull coming into about fifty-yards. You'll see he wants to help me out with the Field Dress plug. The funny thing is he didn't even think of shooting this nice bull as he had the monster eight still on his mind.

He was up in the area last weekend and happened to come across some fellas having a conversation about this huge three-legged bull they came across during muzzzle loader season. It appears by all accounts he made it through another year and is getting the small community talking. My cousin is going to be doing some heavy scouting this year to see if we can't get him on film.

Don't forget to check out Field Dress for your hunting and fishing themed t-shirts.

I can only imagine how exciting it must have been to film one.

I was pretty jealous Rick. We will get the monster on camera this year...or die trying.
